El Sobrante, CA
In this series of photographs, I am exploring the landscape of El Sobrante, California, an East Bay suburb, surrounded by Richmond, San Pablo and Pinole.
Many of the small businesses along San Pablo Damn Road, Appian Way and Valley View Road reside in buildings from the mid-century that have changed little over time. Although the architecture might give the area a feeling of being in a different time, the cars and constant traffic that commutes through the area reminds us that we are in the present.
